Power Up Tutorial

I am going to talk about how to study in the PUT program. There are one teacher and three students in each group. The member of the group change every time, so we can talk with many people. We use the handouts and newspaper (Asahi Weekly) in class. We must print the handouts that use next class from moodle in NUFS homepage. In class, we talk about that topic in the newspaper and everyday conversation, for example, travel, friends, study and more. We can talk without embarrassed because the member of the group is only three people. It is important not to be shy and being relax.

Interesting Place around Nagoya

Our group is going to talk about interesting place around Nagoya. we will talk about Fuji safari park, Takayama, Ise jinguu, and kamikouti. First, I will talk about Fuji safari park.Fuji safari park is zoo like a safari park. This is in Shizuoka prefecture. This is the biggest safari park in Japan. There are many animals, and we can see many animals from very close place by taking bus. We can also take picture with baby lions, do feeding some animals, and more. From April to October, the night safari are held, so we can see animals at night. In this area, we can experience what we can not experience usually. This is good place for both of children and adults, so we can enjoy there. I recommend you this place. Please try to go there.

Halloween

Hallo everyone. I am Haruka. Our group will talk about Halloween. We are talking about history of Halloween, costume, food, and Jack-O'-Lanten. First, I will talk about history of Halloween.
Halloween started in Ireland at first. Halloween is a festival like Obon in Japan. it is a religious event. Halloween is the festival to celebrate of harvest and remember people who have died. In Ireland the last Monday of October is holiday, and they celebrate Halloween. Only Ireland has a holiday to celebrate Halloween, but recently Halloween is celebrated in many countries. For example, in America almost half of all people celebrate it.

Heritage of Greece ～The Parthenon～

I will talk about location, how to get there, entrance charge, and business hour.

Parthenon is in Athens, Greece. It takes about 16 hours to go from Japan to Greece. There is no nonstop service from Japan to Greece, so we must change of planes. It takes about 15 minutes to go from the acropolis station in subway to Parthenon on foot. It cost adults 12 euro and students 6 euro to enter the Parthenon, and under 18 years old people can enter for free. Everybody can enter for free in winter. The Parthenon is opened from 8 o’clock a.m. to 6 o’clock p.m. in summer and from 8 o’clock a.m. to 5 o’clock p.m. in winter.

Tokyo Disneyland

Good afternoon everyone. Today, our group is going to talk about Tokyo Disneyland. Have you ever been to Tokyo Disneyland? I think many people have been there. We are going to talk about attractions, food, parades, and staff efforts. First, I am going to talk about my recommendation of attractions.
There are seven lands in Tokyo Disney land; World Bazaar, Tomorrow Land, Toon Town, Fantasy Land, Critter Country, Western Land, and Adventure Land. There is different music in each of area, and it is said that we can hear sound of waterfalls between each of area, so different music does not mix and we can not hear no sound. There are three attractions called “Three Big Mountain” among many fans in Tokyo Disneyland. It is Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain. Space Mountain and Splash Mountain were made in 1983 when this park was opened, and Big Thunder Mountain was made in 1987. These attractions are very popular since these were made. These attractions are roller coaster. If you like scream machines, you should ride this attraction. There are many attractions in Tokyo Disneyland, so both children and adults can enjoy.

Recommendation: This story was written in 1994. The book became bestseller. This movie made my feel good. There are many hints to live happily in this book. This movie made a faithful to the book, so I think that it is not difficult for everyone to see.
